Product Warranty

All electrical products contained and sold from this site are covered for a limited period of time by the manufacturers of the product or RedDeal suppliers.  Without exception, all electrical items sold have a minimum manufacturers warranty period of 1 year.  In many cases the warranty period, particularly in regards to whitegoods, is 2 years.  RedDeal abides by manufacturers warranty terms and conditions including the right to repair or replace at the sole discretion of the manufacturer where a product is found to have become faulty during its warranty period.  In the event that an item is found to be damaged or faulty upon delivery, the customer is to contact our Sales number within 24 hrs to report such.  Depending on the circumstances, the item may be replaced or repaired.  Should the product be found to be faulty after 7 days from purchase then the manufacturer’s warranty terms will apply and a service call be arranged with the supplier for the customer. A return shipping and re-stock fee will always apply to change of mind return requests.  Approval of 'change of mind' return requests is at the sole discretion of RedDeal. These fees do not apply to products for return suffering a genuine manufacturers fault or delivery damage reported within the specified time frames.

RedDeal does offer an extended warranty product on most items ranging from an extra 1 to 4 years over and above the manufacturers warranty period depending on the type and manufacturer warranty offered. 

Customers can choose an extended warranty plan from a drop box within the item/product page.  If no extended warranty is chosen then the order is tagged 'No Extended Warranty' and only the manufacturers warranty period will apply.

RedDeal's extended warranty company United offers full parts and labour protection during any the extended warranty period selected and paid for.  Should a customer need to use this service during the extension then all they have to do is call our sales number to request a service call.

Typographical Errors
In the event that a RedDeal product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, RedDeal reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. RedDeal reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, RedDeal shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Fraudulent Activity
RedDeal employs sophisticated fraud detection software and will report all instances of fraud, attempted or otherwise to the appropriate state and federal law enforcement authorities.  There are means by which a suspected transaction can be traced to a transaction location and a fraudsters identity obtained.  Any type of fraud including credit card, email and telephone deception will not be tolerated and those individuals will be pursued without exception.  RedDeal also employs the services of debt recovery and private enquiry agents across Australia and will pursue any customer that has fraudulent obtained product from this site or not paid for the same products and services.  Due to the high rate of online fraud, RedDeal reserves the right to request for additional information to establish the legitimacy of any potential customer including but not limited to copies of credit cards details & signatures, drivers licences, acceptable proof of identity, confirmation of tenancy and reference checks.

Delivery Policy  

How much is delivery?                                     

Our delivery charges are clearly stated on each and every products and will also appear every time you checkout. The price listed is per item. If a special delivery has been arranged i.e. after hours, weekends or outside set delivery area a different fee may apply.

Do you deliver to my area?

We will deliver to most areas within Australia. We use Allied Express for our delivery Australia wide. To find out if we deliver to your area please enter your postcode in checkout section If you cannot find the delivery area please call us for a quote.

What happens if my goods break within the manufacturers warranty period?

If a product breaks within the warranty period you can call the manufacturer and ask for service or spare parts, they will arrange a suitable time for their local service agent to come out and fix the problem. All you require is a copy of your invoice that you would have received with delivery or had sent in the mail, if you need a manufacturers number or need a new invoice sent out call us on 02 98939275..

Can I always expect next day delivery?

We do offer next day delivery, however you must be sure that the item ordered is in stock and extra delivery charges may apply, the order has been placed in time and that next day delivery is available in your area. If you place an order and request delivery for the next working day you will be contacted the day of ordering if this can not be done and an alternate delivery day can be arranged. Items that are not in stock are subject to supply chain and an expected lead time can be given for each product on request. Can I specify a time for delivery?

Unfortunately due to the majority of our deliveries being delivered on a set run we are unable to deliver on requested times. You can however request a courtesy call 1 or a half hour before delivery.

What do i do if my goods break within the extended warranty period?

The extended warranty is handled by United Electrical. Simply call their Customer Service Helpline on 1800 786 331 and their friendly staff will assist you with your claim. Ensure you have your original Tax Invoice available and the UG number ready UG number is on the DVD send to you. Arrangements will be made for a service repairer to call and attend to your problem.

Return / Cancellation Policy

 

Please note ones the order has been placed it can no longer be editable however if the products you received is not what you ordered or is damaged you will be refunded full amount by the same method you paid us. If you need to cancel for some reason please contact us on 02 98939275restocking charges of 30% and a collection charges will apply. Please not all returns must be done within 5 business days of your product shipping date and all the products must be in its original packaging. All opened items will not be accepted for refund.

 

Exchange

 

Unfortunately we would not accept any exchange if you would like to exchange for some reason please return the product and ask for refund (fees and charges will apply) then you may visit the website and shop for new products.

 

How to Return An item

1. Complete the Return Form - The Return Form needs to be filled out completely and signed before we process your return. Using this form, tell us why you are returning the item in as much detail as possible. Upon receipt of this form, we will issue an RAF# ( Return Authorisation Form) for the return.

2. Shipping your return - If the reason for your return is not our fault, the buyer bears all shipping costs. We recommend that you let us use our contractor to pick up the product.

3. Receipt of your item - We will send you an e-mail to notify you that your return has been processed and your account credited. You should expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7-14 business days of our receiving your return.
